Unscheduled Hiatus
Hi everyone,
Due to reasons (heat, mild probably-just-heat poor health, other commitments) I’m not quite managing to get a newsletter written this week, and I think I’m just going to roll with it.
Additionally, I’d been planning to take a brief newsletter vacation in the near future, so it seems to make sense to combine the two. As a result, I’m going to skip this week and next week, and use the intervening period to try to build up a buffer.
I will resume with a paid edition on Sunday 27th of June, and a free edition on Wednesday 30th. After that I will probably resume the existing Wednesday/Sunday schedule, but it’s possible I may decide to relax the schedule a bit down to one a week. If I do that it will probably be alternating weeks paid and free. I’ll let you know in the
In the meantime, here are some old posts of mine from the blog that you may not have read to keep you entertained:
All of these are roughly on the theme of how to have more and more interesting and useful ideas about the world, and to put that into practice by creating and exploring interesting things.
This feels like a particularly ironic theme on the week that I’m failing to create something, but I think that perhaps highlights a limitation of my historical approach: I’ve been over-focused on how to be able to create, but the most important thing on being able to create is to overcome the things that block you from actually doing it, and I perhaps have some things I need to figure out there.
In the meantime until the newsletter resumes, I will still be around on the Overthinking Everything discord server. Feel free to join and continue discussing the newsletter themes with me and the community there.
