I uh get someone else to do that.

Currently that's my partner, because she hates daily cleaning tasks and doesn't mind deep cleaning tasks and I'm the reverse, but our income is going to be a bit less tight going forward than it's been over the last year, so we're probably going back to having a weekly paid cleaner to do it for us.

I always start with removing chairs from the kitchen. Its an easy, straightforward way to get started and gain momentum. It reduces visual clutter, stops debris from falling on them, makes the kitchen less cramped and yes its less work than trying to sweep around them.
